W-irons and Wagon underframesThese frets have been prepared to answer the need for simple sprung suspensions for rolling stock. All use wire springs, and sufficient spring is included in the kits. The spring rate can be adjusted by using a different diameter wire from the one provided. Provision is made for both Salter's and Gibson type bearings. James Moorhouse wrote an illustrated article explaining the 4mm versions of these w-irons for Scalefour News. It can be found on the CLAG website Wagon w-ironsEnough for one, 4 wheeled vehicles per fret.
